The 7 p.m. vigil at Veterans Field will honor Andrew Gutierrez, who died suddenly over the weekend.
** UPDATE: Services have been set for Andrew Gutierrez, 15. **
The First Reformed Church was filled with grief on Saturday, as it opened its doors to anyone seeking comfort.
"This is a difficult day here in Saddle Brook," Pastor Christopher Wolf said that morning.
"A young person (high school student) from the township committed suicide last night. I know you all join in praying for his family and giving thanks for his life."
In early December, Saddle Brook came together to mourn 16-year-old Brooke Costanzo, who died in a car wreck.
The community continues to mourn.
"I still don't believe this is real," Andrew's sister wrote on social media.
"My heart is completely shattered. It was an honor to have you as my little brother. You were becoming an amazing man who accomplished everything you set your mind too.
"The golden child. I wish I got to tell you how proud I was of you. I will live the rest of my life for you even though my future could never compare to how bright yours would have been. Please watch over is my perfect little brother."
The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at Veterans Field. Guests are encouraged to wear red.
